About Us

Medical Staff Giving SocietyThe Medical Staff Giving Society was established to give special recognition to the physicians and medical staff who have a desire to strengthen hospital services and improve the health of our community by supporting the Nash UNC Health Care Foundation.The society of active and retired physicians helps to expand our community's access to state-of-the-art medical services and high quality patient care, close to home. Donations from society members will fund initiatives that will expand services or programs to increase patient access and improve patient outcomes. Donations can be designated to a specific Foundation Fund or can be undesignated and go to the area of greatest need.

The Importance of Giving

For over 50 years Nash has provided excellent health care for our community. As the region has grown so has the unmet health needs in our community. Nash UNC Health Care treats some of the most vulnerable patients in the state. Gifts to the Nash UNC Health Care Foundation allow the organization to have a great impact in the lives of our patients and improve the health of our community. Recognition & Appreciation

Your annual contribution through the Society will be greatly appreciated and recognized in the following ways:

  • Society members' names will be displayed on the Donor Recognition Wall located in the Hospital's main lobby
  • Members will receive a unique Physician Giving Society lapel
  • Framed recognition of your membership for your office or
    waiting area
  • Recognition in the Foundation Annual Report
  • Recognition at the Medical Staff Bi-Annual Meetings

Membership Qualifications

Membership in the Giving Society is limited to medical staff. Membership requires a minimum commitment of $1,000 per year. Payments can be made in whole, by month or quarterly installments. This is a gift outside of Event Host Sponsorships, event tickets, memorial donations, etc. By joining for 2022, you will be a member of the inaugural class of the Medical Staff Giving Society
